Mike's Tours Amsterdam Mike's Tours Amsterdam

Having started in 1999, we dare to say we know the ropes! Our professional, fun, friendly, and local crew has a strong focus on making our guests happy. As a result, we have been giving one-in-a-lifetime experiences to thousands of our guests. Since 2022 we are working under the name ‘Mike’s Tours Amsterdam’ so we can offer more tours also without a bike.

We are a team of passionate, friendly, and local guides. We’ve been described by our guests as personable, professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Just writing this makes us blush.

Our goal is to make you experience Amsterdam through the eyes of a local in a relaxed way. To that end, you’ll be riding a bike that a local would ride. We limit the size of our groups so that you have a more personal connection with the guide. Along with this personal approach, our size provides us with professional tools and services to get you the best experience. Whichever tour you book with us, we always assure your safety so you can enjoy the tours responsibly.

Each one of our guides has a strong skill set of storytelling in combination with a deep knowledge of Amsterdam. On top of that, each guide brings his/her own flair and personal anecdotes.

The vast majority of our tours are in English, but please reach out if you’d like to have a tour in Dutch, Spanish or French.

We offer a variety of both city and countryside bike tours in and around Amsterdam. We offer both two and three-hour bike tours of Amsterdam where we’ll show you highlights such as the canal belt, wooden drawbridges, houseboats, bike-filled streets (and canals), the Jordaan district, and many more.

Our countryside tour takes you outside the city to visit windmills, a cheese farm/clog factory, a community of houseboats, the quintessential Dutch ‘Polders’, the spot where Rembrandt used to paint, a ride along the gently-flowing Amstel river, and much more.
